Private Law 89-439 November 2, 1966

AN ACT

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Kobert A. Jellison the sum of $128.96 in full satisfaction of his claim against the United States for damage to certain household effects while being unloaded at his Ignited States Information Service post in Oberammergau, Germany: Provided, That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Any person violating the provision of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000. Approved November 2, 1966.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representative.^ of the United States of America in Congresa assembled. That the Se<'retary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Augustus J. T]ie^)dore the sum of $572.50 in full satisfaction of his claim against the United States for the loss of certain personal property after delivery to an authorized transfer and storage company for shipment to Katmandu, Nepal, his official post of duty, prior to his departure therefor from Washington, District of Columbia, for service as United States Information Service information officer: Provided. That no p a i t of the amount appropriate/d in this Act shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of senices rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be nnlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding.
