Mary F* Morse,

AN ACT For the relief of Mary F. Morse.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That Mary F. Morse, an employee of the Department of the Army, is hereby relieved of all liability for repayment to the United States of the sum of $7,301.36, representing the amount of overpayments of salary received by the said Mary F. Morse for the period from July 2, 1963, through October 20, 1964, as a result of administrative error. I n the audit and settlement of the accounts of any certifying or disbursing officer of the United States, full credit shall be given for the amount for which liability is relieved by this Act. SEC. 2. The Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money m the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to the said Mary F. Morse, referred to in the first section of this Act, the sum of any amounts received or withheld from her on account of the overpayments referred to in the first section of this Act. No part of the amount appropriated in this Act shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall be deemea guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000. Approved March 7, 1966.

AN ACT For the relief of Master Sergeant Bernard L. LaMountain, United States Air Force (retired).

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That Master Sergeant Bernard L. LaMountain, United States Air Force (retired), is hereby relieved of all liability for repayment to the United States of the sum of $4,067.16, representing the amount of overpayments of longevity pay received by the said Master Sergeant Bernard L. LaMountain (retired), for the period from October 24, 1951, through October 2, 1963, as a result of administrative error in the computation of his creditable service for pay purposes. I n the audit and settlement of the accounts of any certifying or disbursing officer of the United States, full credit shall be given for the amount for which liability is relieved by this Act.
