Extending the duration of copyright protection in certain cases.

Re>ioIrcd by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That in any case in which the rencwal term of copyright subsisting in any work on the date of appro\al of this resohition, or the term thereof as extended by Public Law 87-668, by Public Law 89-142, by Public Law 90-141, by Public ^^"'^' ^<^-^l^ kv Public Law 91-147, or by Public Law 91-555 (or by all or certain of said laws), would expire prior to December 31, 1972, such term is hereby continued until December 31, 1972. He H eiuicted by the Semite ami House of Representatives of the /'>(/^^r/ States of Ameiica in Congress assembled. That section 209 of title 87, United States Code, is amended as follows: (1) By ^trikhig out "subsisteiice allowance at the rate of not less than $40 per month or more tlum $50 per month" in the first sentence of subsection (a) and inserting in place thereof "a subsistence allowance of $100 a month". (2) B}' amending subsection (b) to read as follows: "Except when on active duty, a cadet or midshipman appointed under section 2107 of title 10 is entitled to a monthly subsistence allowance in the amount provided in subsection (a) of this section. A meml)er enrolled in the Hrst two years of a four-year program is entitled to receive subsistence for a maximum of twenty months. A member enrolled in the advanced course is entitled to subsistence as prescribed foj. a meml)er enrolled under section 2104 of title 10 as prescribed in subsection (a) of this section." i^j,^,^,)..
