P u b l i c Law 93-30 JOINT RESOLUTION To authorize and request the President to issue a proclamation designating the calendar week beginning May 6, 1973, as "National Historic Preservation Week". Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the P r e s i d e n t is a u t h o r ized and requested to issue a proclamation — (1) designating the c a l e n d a r week b e g i n n i n g May 6, 1973, as "National Historic Preservation Week"; and (2) u r g i n g Federal, State, and local government agencies, as well as citizens and p r i v a t e organizations, especially the preservation organizations, historical societies, and related g r o u p s, to observe that week w i the d u c a t i o n a l efforts, ceremonies, and other a p p r o p r i a t e activities which — (a) are designed to call public a t t e n t i o n to the u r g e n t need to h a v e o u r h i s to r i c l and m a r k s for the enjoyment and edificat i o n of the citizens of t h i s N a t i o n, p r e s e n t and f u t u r e; and (b) will d e m o n s t r a t e l a s t i n g respect for t h i s u n i q u e heritage. National H i s toric Preservation Week. Designation authorization.

P u b l i c Law 9 3 - 3 1 AN ACT To amend section 236 of the Central Intelligence Agency Retirement Act of 1964 for Certain Employees to limit the number of employees that may be retired under such Act during specified periods. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That section 236 of the C e n t r a l I n t e l l i g e n c e Agency Retirement Act of 1964 for Certain E m p l o y e e s, as amended (78 Stat. 1043; 50 U.S.C. 403 note), is amended by (1) striking out " e i g h t h u n d r e d " and inserting in lieu thereof " t w e n t y - o n e h u n d r e d ", and (2) striking out the period at the end of such section and inserting in lieu thereof a comma and the following: " n o r a total of fifteen h u n d r e d during the period b e g i n n i n g on July 1, 1974, and e n d i n g on June 30, 1979."
