PUBLIC LAW 94-6—FEB. 28, 1975 H O U S E OFFICE BUILDINGS
For an additional amount for "House Office Buildings", $15,000,000, 40 USC 175 note, to remain available until expended: Provided, That, notwithstanding any other provision of law, the House Office Building Commission is authorized (1) to use, to such extent as it may deem necessary, for the purposes of providing office and other accommodations for the House of Representatives, the building located on Square 581 in the District of Columbia when such Square, including the improvements thereon, is acquired by the Architect of the Capitol at the direction of the House Office Building Commission under authority of the Additional 40 USC 175 note. House Office Building Act of 1955, and to incur any expenditures under this appropriation required for alterations, maintenance, and occupancy thereof, and (2) prior to occupancy of the entire building by the House of Representatives, to permit the temporary occupancy by other governmental activities of any part of such building not so occupied, under such terms and conditions as such Commission may authorize: Provided further, That any space in such building used for office and other accommodations for the House of Representatives shall be deemed to be a part of the "House Office Buildings" and, as such, shall be subject to the laws, rules, and regulations applicable to those buildings. For an additional amount for "Interim operating assistance", $125,000,000, to remain available until expended: Provided, That this appropriation shall be available only upon the enactment of authorizing legislation. GENERAL PROVISION Repeal. 88 Stat. 1784.
SEC. 101. Section 205 of the Supplemental Appropriations Act, 1975 (Public Law 93-554) is hereby repealed: Provided, That none of the limitations on travel included in the regular appropriations for fiscal year 1975 shall be exceeded. Approved February 28, 1975.
