(b) The Comptroller General shall transmit the results of such Report to study to the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and the congressional House of Representatives on or before August 1, 1977, together with committees, such comments and recommendations as he deems appropriate. SEC. 4. The Act of August 29, 1974 (Public Law 93-397; 10 U.S.C. 8202 note), is amended by striking out "through September 30, 1976" and inserting in place thereof "through September 30, 1978". Approved October 2, 1976.
