Public Law 94-245 94th Congress An Act To authorize the Secretary of Transportation to release restrictions on the use of certain property conveyed to the city of Alva, Oklahoma, for airport purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United /States of America in Congress assembled, That, notwithstanding section 16 of the Federal Airport Act (as in effect on July 17, 1947), the Secretary of Transportation is authorized, subject to the provisions of section 4 of the Act of October 1, 1949 (50 App. U.S.C. 1622c), and the provisions of section 2 of this Act, to grant releases from any of the terms, conditions, reservations, and restrictions contained in the deed of conveyance dated July 17, 1947, under which the United States conveyed certain property to the city of Alva, Oklahoma, for airport purposes. SEC. 2. Any release granted by the Secretary of Transportation under the first section of this Act shall be subject to the following conditions: (1) The city of Alva, Oklahoma, shall agree that in conveying any interest in the property which the United States conveyed to the city by deed dated July 17, 1947, the city will receive an amount for such interest which is equal to the fair market value (as determined pursuant to regulations issued by such Secretary). (2) Any such amount so received by the city shall be used by the city for the development, improvement, operation, or maintenance of a public airport. Approved March 24, 1976.
