Public Law 94-314 94th Congress An Act June 21> 1976 [S. 3187]

National Commission on New Technical Uses of Copyrighted Works. Appropriation authorization. 17 USC 201 note.

To extend the authorization of appropriations for the National Commission on New Technological Uses of Copyrighted Works to be coextensive with the life of such Commission. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That section 205 of the Act entitled " A n Act to amend title 17 of the United States Code to remove the expiration date for a limited copyright in sound recordings, to increase the criminal penalties for piracy and counterfeiting of sound recordings, to extend the duration of copyright protection in certain cases, to establish a National Commission on New Technological Uses of Copyrighted Works, and for other purposes", is amended by striking out " June 30, 1976" and inserting in lieu thereof the following: " and including the day on which the Commission terminates". Approved June 21, 1976.
