Repeal. 42 USC 1396a. 42 USC 1396b. Effective date. 42 USC 1396a note.

To amend the Social Security Act to repeal the requirement that a State's plan for medical assistance under title X IX of such Act include a provision giving consent of the State to certain suits brought with respect to payment for inpatient hospital services.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That subsection (g) of section 1902 of the Social Security Act and subsection (1) of section 1903 of such Act are repealed. SEC. 2. The amendments made by the first section shall take effect as of January 1, 1976. Approved October 18, 1976.
