PUBLIC LAW 9 5 - 9 6 — A U G. 7, 1977 uniforms; official entertainment expenses (not to exceed $10,000); reimbursement of the General Services Administration for security guard services; hire of passenger motor vehicles and aircraft; $281,423,000, to remain available until expended: Provided, That from this appropriation, transfer of sums may be made to other agencies of the Government for the performance of the work for which this appropriation is made, and in such cases the sums so transferred may be merged with the appropriation to which transfer r e d: Provided further, That moneys recei^^ed by the Commission for the cooperative nuclear safety research programs may be retained and used for salaries and expenses associated with those programs, notwithstanding the provisions of section 3617 of the Revised Statutes (31 U.S.C. 484), and shall remain available until expended. For the purpose of carrying out the provisions of the Tennessee Valley Authority Act of 1933, as amended (16 U.S.C. ch. 12A), including hire, maintenance, and operation of aircraft, and hire of passenger motor vehicles, $138,510,000, to remain available until expended: Provided, That not to exceed $2,000,000 of this appropriation is available to carry out the purposes of the E n d a n g e r e d Species Act of 1973 ( P u b lie Law 93-205), as amended, including cooperative efforts as contemplated by that Act to relocate endangered or threatened species to other suitable habitats as may be necessary to expedite project construction. COUNCIL PLANNING

For expenses necessary in carrying out the provisions of the W a t e r Resources P l a n n i n g Act of 1965 (42 U.S.C. 1962—1962d-3), as amended, including services as authorized by 5 U.S.C. 3109 and 42 U.S.C. 1962a-4(5), and hire of passenger motor vehicles (42 U.S.C. 1962a-4(6)), $13,696,000, to remain available until expended, including $1,158,000 for expenses in administering the Act (42 U.S.C. 1962 d (b)), $3,631,000 for preparation of assessments and plans (42 U.S.C. 1962d(c)), $3,006,000 for preparation of plans (33 U.S.C. 1289), $2,901,000 for expenses of river basin commissions under title II of the Act (42 U.S.C. 1962 d (a)), and $3,000,000 for grants to States under title III of the Act (42 U.S.C. 1962c (a)).
