International Petroleum Exposition, Tulsa, Okla.

Authorizing the President to invite the States of the Union and foreign nations to participate in the International Petroleum Exposition to be held at Tulsa, Oklahoma, from September 10, 1979, through September 13, 1979.

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the President of the United States is authorized and requested to invite by proclamation, or in such other manner as he may deem proper, the States of the Union and foreign nations to participate in the International Petroleum Exposition to be held at Tulsa, Oklahoma, from September 10, 1979, through September 13, 1979, for the purpose of exhibiting machinery, equipment, supplies, and other products used in the production and marketing of oil and gas, and brmging together buyers and sellers for the promotion of foreign and domestic trade and commerce in such products. Approved October 5, 1978.
