PUBLIC LAW 95-614—NOV. 8, 1978 SEC. 3. (a) Subject to valid existing rights, lands owned by the United States in the tracts of land described in section 1 are hereby added to the Cibola National Forest and shall be administered in accordance with the laws, rules, and regulations applicable to the National Forest System. (b) Land acquired by the Secretary of the Interior within the boundaries of Cibola National Forest as extended by this Act shall be transferred to the Secretary of Agriculture, shall be added to the Cibola National Forest, and shall be administered in accordance with the laws, rules, and regulations applicable to the National Forest System. SEC. 4. Effective October 1, 1979, there are authorized to be appropriated not more than $12,000,000 from the Land and Water Conservation Fund for the acquisition of lands added to the Cibola National Forest by section 1 of this Act. Approved November 8, 1978.
