To extend the present public debt limit through June 30, 1980.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That subsection (a)Public debt limit, temporary of section 101 of the Act of September 29, 1979, entitled "An Act to increase; oil provide for a temporary increase in the public debt limit, and to import fee, amend the Rules of the House of Representatives to make possible termination. the establishment of the public debt limit in the future as a part of 31 USC 757b the congressional budget process" (Public Law 96-78) is amended by note. 589; 93 Stat. striking out "June 5, 1980" and inserting in lieu thereof "June 30, Ante, p. 421. 1980". SEC. 2. TERMINATION OF APRIL 2, 1980, OIL IMPORT FEE.

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the action taken by the President under section 232(b) of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962 (19 U.S.C. 1862(b)) with respect to petroleum imports under Proclamation 4744, dated April 2, 1980, as amended, shall cease to have force and effect upon the date of the enactment of this Act.
