ARCHITECT OF THE CAPITOL MEMORIAL TO HALE BOGGS

For use by the Architect of the Capitol for processing, and installing in the Congressional Cemetery, a traditional cenotaph for the late Honorable Hale Boggs, $7,000. NATIONAL FOUNDATION ON THE ARTS AND THE HUMANITIES NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR THE ARTS SALARIES AND EXPENSES

For necessary expenses to carry out the National Foundation on the Arts and the Humanities Act of 1965, as amended, $125,860,000, 20 USC 951 note. of which $113,960,000 shall be available to the National Endowment for the Arts for the support of projects and productions in the arts through assistance to groups and individuals pursuant to section 5(c) of the Act, of which not less than 20 per centum of the funds provided 20 USC 954. for section 5(c) shall be available for assistance pursuant to section 5(g) of the Act, and $11,900,000 shall be available for administering the functions of the Act. M A T C H I N G GRANTS

To carry out the provisions of section 10(a)(2) of the National Foundation on the Arts and the Humanities Act of 1965, as amended, 20 USC 959. $32,700,000, to remain available until September 30, 1982, to the National Endowment for the Arts, of which $13,450,000 shall be available for purposes of section 5(1): Provided, That this appropri- 20 USC 954. ation shall be available for obligation only in such amounts as may be equal to the total amounts of gifts, bequests, and devises of money, and other property accepted by the Chairman under the provisions of section 10(a)(2) during the current and preceding fiscal years and the transition period, for which equal amounts have not previously been appropriated. NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR THE HUMANITIES SALARIES AND EXPENSES

For necessary expenses to carry out the National Foundation on the Arts and the Humanities Act of 1965, as amended, $117,799,000, 20 USC 951 note. of which $106,522,000 shall be available to the National Endowment for the Humanities for support of activities in the humanities, pursuant to section 7(c) of the Act, of which not less than 20 per 20 USC 956. centum shall be available for assistance pursuant to section 7(f) of the Act, and $11,277,000, shall be available for administering the functions of the Act. MATCHING GRANTS

To carry out the provisions of section 10(a)(2) of the National Foundation on the Arts and the Humanities Act of 1965, as amended, 20 USC 959. $33,500,000, to remain available until September 30, 1982, of which $24,000,000 shall be available to the National Endowment for the Humanities for the purposes of section 7(h): Provided, That this 20 USC 956. appropriation shall be available for obligation only in such amounts as may be equal to the total amounts of gifts, bequests, and devises of
