Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Public debt limit. States of America in Congress assembled. That during the period Temp^ary beginning on October 1, 1982, and ending on September 30, 1983, the A/ite,^^937. public debt limit set forth in the first sentence of section 21 of the 31 USC 3101 Second Liberty Bond Act (31 U.S.C. 757b) shalUbe temporarily note. increased by $890,200,000,000 (and any other provision of law providing for a temporary increase in such limit shall not apply).
