rpg authorize and request the President to issue a proclamation designating October 17 through October 23, 1982, as "Lupus Awareness Week".

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the President is authorized and requested to issue a proclamation designating October 17 through October 23, 1982, as "Lupus Awareness Week", and calling upon the people of the United States to observe such week with appropriate ceremonies and activities. Approved August 17, 1982.
