To amend the Contract Services for Drug Dependent Federal Offenders Act of 1978 to authorize additional appropriations to carry out such Act.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That this Act may ^^ ^^^®^ ^® *^® "Contract Services for Drug Dependent Federal Offenders Authorization Act of 1983". SEC. 2. Section 4(a) of the Contract Services for Drug Dependent Federal Offenders Act of 1978 (18 U.S.C. 4255 note) is amended— (1) by striking out "1981; and" and inserting in lieu thereof "1981;", and (2) by inserting before the period at the end thereof the following: "; $5,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1984; $5,500,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1985; and $6,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1986.". Approved March 20, 1984.
