Corporation.
To authorize the Secretary of the Interior to enter into contracts or cooperative agreements with the Art Bam Association to assist in the preservation and interpretation of the Art Barn in Rock Creek Park in the District of Columbia, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That in order to preserve the Art Barn, located in Rock Creek Park in the District of Columbia, for the benefit and inspiration of the people of the United States, the Secretary of the Interior is authorized to enter into contracts or cooperative agreements with the Art Barn Association (a nonprofit corporation organized under the laws of the District of Columbia), or a successor organization, to assist in the preservation and interpretation of the Art Barn. (b) Pursuant to contracts or cooperative agreements under subsection (a) and subject to such terms and conditions as the Secretary of the Interior may establish, funds available to the Secretary for operation and maintenance of the Art Barn may be made available to the Art Barn Association. (c) The authority of the Secretary of the Interior to enter into contracts and cooperative agreements under subsection (a) shall expire on the date 5 years after the enactment of this Act. (d) For purposes of complying with section 401 of the Congressional Budget Act of 1974, the authorization provided under this Act is subject to the availability of appropriations.
