Public Law 98-594 98th Congress An Act To authorize two additional Assistant Secretaries for the Department of the Treasury.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That (a) section 301(e) of title 31, United States Code, is amended by striking out " 5 " and inserting in lieu thereof "7". (b) Section 5315 of title 5, United States Code, is amended by striking out "(5)." after "Assistant Secretaries of the Treasury" and inserting in lieu thereof "(7).". SEC. 2. During the fiscal year ending September 30, 1984, any payment or obligation pursuant to this Act may be made only to such extent or in such amounts as are provided in advance in appropriation Acts.
