Sept. 19, 1985 [S.J. Res. 31]

To designate the week of November 24 through November 30, 1985, and the week of November 23 through November 29, 1986, as "National Family Week".

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the President is hereby authorized and requested to issue a proclamation designating the week of November 24, 1985, through November 30, 1985, and the week of November 23, 1986, through November 29, 1986, as "National Family Week", and inviting the Governors of the several States, the chief officials of local governments, and the people of the United States to observe such week with appropriate ceremonies and activitiesApproved September 19, 1985.
