Act as amended by section 601 of the Social Security Amendments of 1983 (Public Law 98-21), $15,300,000: Provided, That none of the funds in the Act shall be available for salaries or expenses of any employee of the Office of Technology Assessment in excess of 143 staff employees: Provided further. That no part of this appropriation shall be available for assessments or activities not initiated and 2 USC 472. approved in accordance with section 3(d) of Public Law 92-484, except that funds shall be available for the assessment required by 38 USC 101 note. Public Law 96-151. CONGRESSIONAL BUDGET OFFICE SALARIES AND EXPENSES
For salaries and expenses necessary to carry out the provisions of 2 USC 621 note, the Congressional Budget Act of 1974 (Public Law 93-344), $16,886,000: Provided, That none of these funds shall be available for the purchase or hire of a passenger motor vehicle: Provided further. That none of the funds in this Act shall be available for salaries or expenses of any employee of the Congressional Budget Office in 2 USC 605. excess of 222 staff employees: Provided further. That any sale or lease of property, supplies, or services to the Congressional Budget Office shall be deemed to be a sale or lease of such property, supplies, or services to the Congress subject to section 903 of Public 2 USC 111b. For the Architect of the Capitol; the Assistant Architect of the Capitol; the Executive Assistant; and other personal services; at rates of pay provided by law, $5,417,000. TRAVEL
