A HISTORY OF NORFOLK Cythere (?) semipunctata, Brady, from the Norfolk Ouse.' Cythere emaciata, Brady, from the Ouse at Lynn/ Cythere antiquata (Baird), from Breydon Water and the river Bure.^ Baird, in describing the shell, says, ' The whole circumference is wrinkled, and the shell presents a very antiquated appearance.'* G. W. Miiller, in his great work on the Mediterranean Ostracoda, 1894, refers this species to the genus Cythereis, Rupert Jones. Cythere villosa (Sars), from Norfolk coast, taken by Mr. D. O. Drewett.* Cythere latimarglnata (Speyer). A single specimen, possibly fossil, was dredged in the Ouse at Lynn.* Cythere finmarchica (Sars), from the Norfolk Ouse.' This and the two preceding species, placed in the genus Cythereis by Sars, are allotted to Cythere by Brady and Norman. Limnicythere monstrifica (Norman), from Breydon Water and the Ouse at Lynn.® Cytheridea torosa (Rupert Jones), from the Norfolk broads and river Ouse." Cytheridea elongata, Brady, taken off Yarmouth by Mr. D. O. Drewett.'" Loxoconcha guttata (Norman), from the Bure." Loxoconchaviridis (Miiller), from the Norfolk broads. It is described as almost ubiquitous in the British islands in brackish and sub-brackish situations.^^ Loxoconcha multifora (Norman), from the Ouse.^^ Loxoconcha pusi/la, Brady and Robertson, from the Ouse.'* Cytherura gibba (Miiller), found in many of the Norfolk broads and the Ouse.'° Cytherura striata, Sars, from the Ouse.'* Cytherura angulata, Brady, from the Ouse." Cytherura clathrata, Sars, from the Ouse at Lynn, and also dredged off Yarmouth by Mr. D. O.
