Harry Lindauer

Harry Lindauer, a resident of Rye practically all his life, died very early to-day at his home, 38 Elm place, after an illness of three weeks. Mr. Lindauer's health was undermined by an attack of influenza, from which he never fully recovered. For a number of years past he had been employed in a clerical capacity by the Russell, Purdsall & Ward Bolt and Nut Company at Port Chester. Deceased was a son of the late Charles F. Lindauer, the family home for many years having been on Locust avenue. He attended school in Rye and was quite well known about the village. In addition to his wife and one son, Harry, he is survived by his mother, one sister, Mrs. Anna Lowe and two brothers, Arthur and LeBaron Lindauer. The funeral will be held from Mr. Lindauer's late residence, Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock. Burial will take place in Greenwood Union Cemetery.
