Q. Mr. President, what is your appreciation of Armenian-Greek economic and political relations and whether there are tendencies for their further improvement and development?

A. I believe that the economic relations are the most important ones, since we do not have any political problems with Greece. Since regaining independence our relations with Greece have been warm and consistent. As regards economic sector, the main legislative acts for bilateral cooperation have been formed with very successful examples of Greek capital's investments in Armenia.

Q. Mr. President, Greece and Armenia cooperate on international level concerns our national problems. What is your attitude to Armenia-Greece relations regarding Turkey and Cyprus-related developments?

A. Our cooperation within the framework of international organizations is very effective and I should say that we are holding permanent consultations concerning a number of issues. We are natural allies in this region as well. As to the Cyprus issue we support its adjustment in accordance with the appropriate UN Resolution, which coincides with Greece's position. As to our relations with Turkey, I should say we have problems hear, but I think we have to continue our efforts and also to agree our moves to regulate our relations with it. I think, the steps aiming at establishment of peace must prevail in our policy.
