Proclamation

on Removal and Appointment of Ministers[1]

Phra Bat Somdet Phra Paraminthra Maha Bhumibol Adulyadej is graciously pleased to proclaim that whereas We have appointed Yingluck Shinawatra Prime Minister pursuant to Our Proclamation dated 5 August 2011 and appointed her Ministers pursuant to Our Proclamation dated 9 August 2011 and Our last Proclamation dated 18 January 2012,

And whereas the Prime Minister informed Us that certain ministers have resigned and certain ministerial offices ought to be improved for the appropriateness and benefits of public administration,

Now Know You that We, by virtue of sections 171 and 183 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, do hereby remove and appoint the Ministers as follows:


1. The Ministers shall be removed as follows:

General Yutthasak Sasiprapha, Deputy Prime Minister,
shall be removed from ministership,
Worawat Uea-aphinyakun, Minister attached to the Office of the Prime Minister,
shall be removed from ministership,
Nalini Thawisin, Minister attached to the Office of the Prime Minister,
shall be removed from ministership,
Wirun Techaphaibun, Deputy Minister of Finance,
shall be removed from ministership,
Natthawut Saikuea, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives,
shall be removed from ministership,
Charuphong Rueangsuwan, Minister of Transport,
shall be removed from ministership,
Police Lieutenant General Chat Kunladilok, Deputy Minister of Transport,
shall be removed from ministership,
Chatchat Sitthiphan, Deputy Minister of Transport,
shall be removed from ministership,
Arak Chonthanon, Minister of Energy,
shall be removed from ministership,
Phum Saraphon, Deputy Minister of Commerce,
shall be removed from ministership,
Siriwat Khachonprasat, Deputy Minister of Commerce,
shall be removed from ministership,
Chuchat Hansawat, Deputy Minister of Interior,
shall be removed from ministership,
Thanit Thianthong, Deputy Minister of Interior,
shall be removed from ministership,
Sukumon Khunpluem, Minister of Culture,
shall be removed from ministership,
Plotprasop Suratsawadi, Minister of Science and Technology,
shall be removed from ministership,
Suchat Thadathamrongwet, Minister of Education,
shall be removed from ministership,
Sakda Khongphet, Deputy Minister of Education,
shall be removed from ministership,
Witthaya Buranasiri, Minister of Public Health,
shall be removed from ministership,
Surawit Khonsombun, Deputy Minister of Public Health,
shall be removed from ministership,
Mom Ratchawong Phongsawat Sawatdiwat, Minister of Industry,
shall be removed from ministership,


2. The Ministers shall be appointed as follows:

Suraphong Towichakchaikun as Deputy Prime Minister, in addition to his existing ministerial offices,
Plotprasop Suratsawadi as Deputy Prime Minister,
Phongthep Thepkanchana as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education,
Warathep Rattanakon as Minister attached to the Office of the Prime Minister,
Sansani Nakphong as Minister attached to the Office of the Prime Minister,
Yukhon Limlaemthong as Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives,
Siriwat Khachonprasat as Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives,
Yutthaphon Charatsathian as Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives,
Chatchat Sitthiphan as Minister of Transport,
General Phruen Suwannathat as Deputy Minister of Transport,
Prasoet Chanruangthong as Deputy Minister of Transport,
Phongsak Raktaphongphaisan as Minister of Energy,
Natthawut Saikuea as Deputy Minister of Commerce,
Charuphong Rueangsuwan as Minister of Interior,
Police Lieutenant General Chat Kunladilok as Deputy Minister of Interior,
Pracha Sopdi as Deputy Minister of Interior,
Sonthaya Khunpluem as Minister of Culture,
Worawat Uea-aphinyakun as Minister of Science and Technology,
Soemsak Phongphanit as Deputy Minister of Education,
Pradit Sinthawanarong as Minister of Public Health,
Chonlanan Si-kaeo as Deputy Minister of Public Health,
Prasoet Bunchaisuk as Minister of Industry,
Thanit Thianthong as Deputy Minister of Industry,


And that this Our Proclamation shall come into force henceforth.


Issued this 27th Day of October, Buddhist Era 2555 (2012), being the 67th Year of Our Reign.
