A missing "no"
I inserted a "no" into the first sentence of the 8th paragraph of VII. The sentence does not make sense without it. I assume that it is in the original text but have not yet checked. —unsigned comment by 18.104.22.168 (talk) 14:46, 12 August 2008.
- In the Project Gutenberg etext, it says he was "Pius IX himself was troubled by doubts". We would need pagescans to prove that their transcription is incorrect. John Vandenberg (chat) 06:46, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, I'll try to get hold of a copy of the book to check. Meanwhile, we'll leave it without the "no".
- I have checked the original, and I am right there is a "no". You can verify it by checking this link: http://www.bartleby.com/189/107.html So I have now reinserted the "no"
