| Notes: | The Works of William H. Seward, Volume 5, page 598, has what seems to be the same order, but omits some paragraphs printed in the Statutes at Large, leaving out virtually all references to the concurrent resolution of Congress rejecting the rescissions of Ohio and New Jersey (possibly as those were moot following ratification of two other states). Not sure which is "official", but going with the Statutes at Large version. |
