question[edit]

Since I'm new here, I'll ask this question: When we proofread it, do we compare it with the actual speech President Obama spoke, or the text he was reading from the teleprompter. Also, if someone wants to point me in a direction to start reading how things work around here, I'd appreciate that. Ajl772 (talk) 00:32, 4 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request[edit]

{{editprotected}} Nine-Eleven should be changed to 9/11 as that is the correct way to write it. CheatCodes4ever (talk) 10:19, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@CheatCodes4ever: I have unprotected the page so you can change it yourself. Just keep in mind that we reproduce previously published works as published, so we use the form used in the original document (see the links in the notes field), so if they do it "wrong" we do not "correct" it. I didn't look too closely, but at a cursory scan it looks like your proposed change matches the source. --Xover (talk) 10:30, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
