the header of this poem is dated "march 7th, 1862", whereas the actual battle took place on march 8, 1862.

unless this is an (sic) from the original source-text, that should be corrected.

This is the published work, and should be replicated as is. As this is one of our older works, we do not have the image of the text to which we can do a comparison. At this point of time, best you can do is add a gentle comment in the notes section, add to the {{header}} ... | edition = yes that points them to here, the talk page, where you can elucidate and have pointers to more accurate information. — billinghurst sDrewth 14:25, 1 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
