I changed some words of the quotation by Horace: the previous version contained obvious spelling mistakes. As far as I can tell from the versions of google book, the exact references of the quotations were given in the text, so I added them. If the versions of the googlebook texts are correct, the quotation by Horace was followed by its translation by Thomes Creech, it would be a good thing if someone copied it here.
