Template:Indented plainlist/doc

From Wikisource
Jump to navigation Jump to search

This template is very similar to plainlist, except that it automatically indents parts of long items that are wrapped onto a new line. This makes it easier to tell apart multiple such items when width is limited—e.g. in an infobox—and eliminates the need for a bulleted list.

Indented plainlist provides a WCAG-compliant and accessible alternative to <br />-separated lists, per MOS:UBLIST and MOS:PLIST.

Usage[edit]

Example
First label Some data
Awards
Second label Some more data

Custom indentation[edit]

Example
First label Some data
Awards
Second label Some more data
