LETTER FROM A BOSTON LADY HERE!

Knickerbocker Hall.

Mr. Editor: This refreshment room is the most perfect arrangement possible of its kind, and to Brooklyn we must accord the honor of wholly eclipsing her sister cities in this respect. Indeed the Fair, as a whole, is far before any other we have attended, in its brilliant display.

We know not which to admire most, the architecture of the building, the rural decorations of its walls, or the fair ladies who preside, with so much courtesy and grace, at the tables.

One feature is truly remarkable; as your eye glances round the hall, every table is filled with hungry occupants, and is surely supplied by some fairy process, for we see no dishes in transitu: 'tis more like a picture ready to be taken!

How is this accomplished, with no confusion or bustle?

Others must come and learn. Yours,
Boston.

See here the advantages of travelling out from the hub of the universe, along the spokes, toward the star-rimmed circumference! Ed.
