Cotton, J. J. M.A., I.C.S., District and Sessions Judge; s. of Sir Henry Cotton; (q.v.); educ: Corpus Christi College, Oxford; joined service, 1883; rose to the position of Collector and District Magistrate, 1907; District and Sessions Judge. 1910; is much interested in the study of antiquities and genealogy in India.
