Ramakrishna Pillai, Thottakadu, B. A., Rao Sahib (1912), retired Sub-Assistant Registrar, High Court, Madras; b. 1854; educ: in Conjeevaram; proceeded to Madras and prosecuted his studies; passed B.A., 1876; was Librarian, Madras Literary Society, 1880; joined service in the Madras High Court; rose to the position of Sub-Assistant Registrar, and retired; has had extensive foreign travelling; Honorary Fellow, Madras University.
