Educ.: Haileybury, R.M.C., Sandhurst, Staff College; Camberley; Army, 1882, till 1911, when retired as Lieut.-Col.; re-called 1914, and commanded various battalions in France and Flanders (D.S.O. and Mention). Fought previously in Burmese War, 1885-87, West Africa, 1897-98; South Africa, 1899-1902; numerous medals; hunted in Ireland, England, and elswhere; shot big game; rode winners and others in Point-to-Point; son of late Charles Richardson, of Springfield, Lurgan, and of Connemara, and Mary, dau, of late Dr. Wm. Reeves. Bishop of Down, P.R.I.A.; b. 1862; m.'1884, Emily, dau. of late R. A. Armitage, of Breckenbrough, of Cheltenham, and has issue three sons and one dau. Recn: peace-making. Res.: 29 Berryands Road, Surbiton, Surrey.
