Regulations of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security
on Child Protection Under the Law on International Cooperation in Civil Matters Relating to Breach of Rights of Child Custody,
2567 BE

Whereas it is appropriate to have regulations relating to protection of a child upon receipt of the child by the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security in accordance with section 10(4) of the International Cooperation in Civil Matters Relating to Breach of Rights of Child Custody Act, 2555 BE;

Therefore, by virtue of the powers under section 4, paragraph 1, and section 11, paragraph 2, of the International Cooperation in Civil Matters Relating to Breach of Rights of Child Custody Act, 2555 BE, the Minister of Social Development and Human Security lays down the following Regulations:

Regulation1.These Regulations are called the Regulations of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security on Child Protection Under the Law on International Cooperation in Civil Matters Relating to Breach of Rights of Child Custody, 2567 BE.

Regulation2.In providing protection to a child until the proceedings for his return are finished or until the Court orders otherwise, the Regulations of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security on Provision of Assistance to Children, 2547 BE, and the Regulations of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security on Working Procedure of Reception Centres, Assistance Centres, Welfare Protection Centres, and Development and Rehabilitation Centres, 2547 BE, shall be observed mutatis mutandis.

Regulation3.The Director General of the Department of Children and Youth shall be in charge of the implementation of these Regulations and shall have the power to rule upon the questions or disputes relating to the observance of these Regulations.
