Paragraph 1- If one says to give a small gift to another and then retracts, he is lacking trustworthiness. See above 204:8.

Paragraph 2- One is prohibited from giving a gift to gentile who is not a toshav-convert unless he knows him or if giving the gift would help maintain the peace.

Paragraph 3- If one gives a gift to a slave or woman, the master or husband would acquire it. The master would also acquire the actual property, while the husband would only acquire the fruits. With respect to the actual property, however, once she is widowed or divorced, it will be hers, and this is discussed in Tur Even Haezer Siman 85.

Paragraph 4- If one writes over all his properties to his slave, the slave would acquire himself as a free man. This is discussed in Tur Yoreh Deah Siman 267.

Paragraph 5- It is a pious trait to not accept any gifts and to just rely on God that he will give you what you need, as the pasuk states, “one who hates gifts will live.”
