A dream that appeared to author during an overnight stay in the company of homeless people at the train station of Guangzhou city.

That rainy night I dreamed of... paradise. In other words, a place where almost everybody seek to get after death. Apparently, the daytime walking around the temples had an effect. But in the dream I was not a full member of the paradise community, but rather an outside observer: like a TV viewer, mentally transported to the other side of the screen.

Paradise was like a commune and looked like... "places not all that far away". Judging by the appearance, it was not our domestic dungeon, and not an Asian zindan, but a kind of Western European pre-trial detention center, one of those that can’t be distinguished from a three-star hotel.

Each guest received without restrictions what he wanted: freedom of movement on the territory, any books, fresh newspapers and magazines, three meals a day and other benefits, which it is not possible to list due to some paper deficit. Only one drawback was noticed by an attentive "viewer" (I'm sure the members of the paradise commune would have added it to the list of advantages): it is forbidden to go outside…

"Paradise in which there is no way to leave territory is hell for a traveler," — thought when woke up. It's better with homeless people at the train station than in such a paradise…
