CHAP. 186.—An act to amend an act entitled "An act to provide for the establishment of a military prison and for its government," approved March third, eighteen hundred and seventy-three.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That said act be, and the same is hereby, so amended that all acts and things therein required to be done and performed at Rock Island, in the State of Illinois, shall be done and performed on the militaryMilitary prison to be established at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. reservation at Fort Leavenworth in the State of Kansas: Provided, That the Government buildings now on sad military reservation at Fort Leavenworth shall be modified and used so far as practicable for theUse of present buildings. purposes of said prison.
