Is the original PD in home country? Poland is life + 70, isn't it? If the original work is not PD source country, the translation should be hosted locally, not Commons. Hrishikes (talk) 12:35, 10 September 2017 (UTC)
- @Hrishikes: Indeed, it is not. Both are PD in US as pre-1923 works. However, this translation was never published in Poland, so I do not think Poland can be considered country of origin for this book (according to Commons' rules).
- And, unfortunately, I am unable to upload this book here, especially under the same name that it is uploaded to Commons. At least autoconfirmed right is required; maybe even sysop. Blossfeldia liliputańa (talk) 12:55, 10 September 2017 (UTC)
- For any translation, translation-plus-original need to be considered. Both need to be PD in source country and USA. So this file is not suitable for Commons. I have uploaded it locally. Please mark it for speedy at Commons. Hrishikes (talk) 13:28, 10 September 2017 (UTC)
