1610 Doway Old Testament[edit]
You've indicated that Index:1610 Doway Old Testament.pdf needs to have its source file corrected. It helps to add details about the problem to the Index talk page, so that another editor may be able to correct the problem, if needed. --EncycloPetey (talk) 21:11, 7 July 2016 (UTC)
- @EncycloPetey: Hi, this file was missing two pages and I wanted to replace it but the size is >100mb. I just re-uploaded the same file but with the added missing pages. How do I go about getting the old one removed? --ChristusRex (talk) 21:23, 7 July 2016 (UTC)
- Did you reload at Commons? Did you reload over the old file, or did you use a different name? If you uploaded over the previous version, then the old version will not need to be deleted. --EncycloPetey (talk) 21:27, 7 July 2016 (UTC)
- @EncycloPetey: I used a different name. This is the old file File:1610_Doway_Old_Testament.pdf and the new one File:1610_Douay_Old_Testament.pdf . I would've uploaded as a new version of the old file, but it didn't allow me because of the size limit. ChristusRex (talk) 21:33, 7 July 2016 (UTC)
- You'll need to tag the files at Commons. If you want to keep the old name, request a merge to that name. If the new name is desired, tag the old file for speedy deletion as a damaged duplicate. --EncycloPetey (talk) 21:36, 7 July 2016 (UTC)
