Sometimes used by Czech Wikisource user Milda (in semi-manual mode) for interwiki changes.
Are you a bot?[edit]
I'm confused, are you a bot or are you not? By w:WP:DUCK you should be one, yet your edits are not marked as such, but are unpatrolled instead. - Yes, it is, as you can read on top of this page. :-) It is my bot sometimes used for interwiki changes, it means run only for specified page(s) with -confirm parameter instead of manually editing. It do nothing else outside my home cs.wikisource. If you think its occasional edits need bot flag or should be marked as autopatrolled any way, set it, it is your decision, I don't care about it. Linking of subpages of works, why?[edit]
I am wondering why we are linking subpages like Journey into the Interior of the Earth/Chapter XII. Surely the works are cross-linked at the top level and that should be sufficient? To me getting linking of subpages becomes superfluous where the chapters link 1 to 1. — billinghurst sDrewth 11:07, 11 February 2011 (UTC)
- Without interwiki linking of subpages you couldn't use parallel lang2lang comparison (?match=XX function) like this. Interwikis on subpages are common, see Homer's Iliad, Bocacccio's Decameron, Dante's Divine Comedy, Shakespeare's Macbeth, Hugo's Les Misérables etc. As you can see, other Wikisources use them too and English Wikisource have linked subpages also before my contributions. Superfluous for you doesn't mean superfluous for all users and readers. --Milda (talk) 13:04, 11 February 2011 (UTC)
