{{nop}}[edit]

To answer your edit summary question: When the separate Pages are transcluded in the mainspace, the software will not respect a paragraph break which occurs if one paragraph finishes on one page, but the following one starts exactly on the next page. Adding {{nop}} at the bottom of the first page and at the top of the second page fixes that problem. Maxim (talk) 23:57, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

When I was shown {{nop}}, it was used twice, as I had mentioned above. I've tested it, and it seems that the template must be on the first page, but it seems that it isn't necessary for the second. So it means you're right -- the second {{nop}}s are useless but harmless. Maxim (talk) 00:31, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've been leaving any I found in place but eliminating the following newline, so there is no whitespace between the {{nop}} and the following text. This avoids having an empty paragraph appear in the page view. Isaacl (talk) 00:34, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I think I've undid a few of those fixes, because I didn't release why they were like that. I'll try to go and find all of those instances and re-fix it. Incidentally, I can't validate any more pages, so they're all yours. Maxim (talk) 00:50, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I think you can validate Page:Hockey,_Canada's_Royal_Winter_Game.djvu/89. I'm probably done for today; will pick up again tomorrow. Isaacl (talk) 00:56, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Validated. Thanks again so much for coming over to help. Maxim (talk) 01:07, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks!![edit]

As seen from the Index page, the work on the book has all been finished. Without your commitment to the proofreading, especially your attention to detail as seen by the multiple threads on my talkpage, the book would not have been validated. Thank you so much for you help. I'm going to be leaving a comment at WT:HOCKEY at Wikipedia regarding what other possibilities regarding hockey and Wikisource exist.
