I notice you created a Davood the Hunchback, please add information of the source of the text and its author and translator. cygnis insignis 11:30, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated this for deletion as it possibly is not in the public domain. A work published in 1930, with author dying in 1950s would not usually be in the public domain. If you have evidence that the work is in the public domain please participate in the conversation. — billinghurst sDrewth 01:15, 26 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! This story is currently banned in Iran & no publisher can publish Hedayat's works. All his stories have been put in public domain by Hedayat's family and one can download most of them in Persian on his official website at http://www.sadeghhedayat.info/article.aspx?id=6. This story is included on this page.

Please remove this story from deletion list

According to Circular 38a of the U.S. Copyright Office, Iran has no official copyright relations whatsoever with the United States. Published works originating in Iran thus are not copyrighted in the United States, regardless of the local copyright laws of these countries. Source: Copyright in Iran

A question has been raised on the year of publication, which seems to be 1932. DO NOT remove the copyvio tag. cygnis insignis 16:32, 26 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If your next edit is not at this WS:COPYVIO#Davood_the_Hunchback you will be blocked. cygnis insignis 17:02, 26 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
