French texts[edit]
This is the English Wikisource. French texts should be hosted at the French Wikisource, and scan files should be uploaded to Commons, not to a Wikisource. --EncycloPetey (talk) 13:49, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
What is the purpose of Template:LAC? Files should not be uploaded to English Wikisource unless they are in PD in the US but not in PD in their native country, and that is a rare thing. In the vast majority of cases, files should be uploaded to Commons, not here. --EncycloPetey (talk) 14:05, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
