The Religion of the Brahmo Samaj[edit]

The Religion of the Brahmo Samaj claims it was written in 1911. Do you have evidence that it wasnt written in 1911? John Vandenberg (chat) 10:39, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am seeing a lot of evidence to back up the 1911 date (inc. this, so I have reverted you. If you believe this is a copyright violation, please compile your evidence and follow the standard protocol at WS:COPYVIO. John Vandenberg (chat) 10:49, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am sorry, but we do not delete pages without good evidence. I have started a discussion at Wikisource:Possible_copyright_violations#The_Religion_of_the_Brahmo_Samaj. Please provide evidence there. John Vandenberg (chat) 15:58, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for explaining on Talk:The Religion of the Brahmo Samaj why you believe it is a copyright violation. That will be sufficient guidance for the moment, however while everyone tries to understand this situation, they may ask more questions. John Vandenberg (chat) 16:05, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
There is no copyright viloation. As per Indian copyright act, the copyright expires after 60 years after the author expires. Also, the "Religion of Brahmo Samaj" is kept in http://www.archive.org/ ; Debanjan Ray; 9 June 2008
