Warrant of protection in favour of John Greigson, in Wark, Northumberland  (1745)

Charles Prince of Wales & Regent of Scotland England France and Ireland and the Dominions thereunto belonging:
To all his Majesty's Officers Civil or Military

These are requiring you to protect and defend the whole house and affairs of John Greigson in Wark in the County of Northumberland from all violence or injuries to be done against him by any person or persons whomsoever. Given at Helso the fifth day of November 1745.
