Hyderabad or Haidarabad, is a historic city and the combined capital of the Indian states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Before the Indian Independance, it was the capital of Hyderabad state ruled by Asaf Jahi dynasty, who built the Golconda fort. Secunderabad is its twin city.
