The text of the Siiryasiddh&ntay one of the most popular handbooks of Hindu astronomy. Fourteen chapters. The text has been edited by F. £. Hall ; a complete transla- tion appeared in the sixth yolume of the Journal of the American Oriental Society, and subsequently in the Biblio- theca Indica. The MS. was copied from one written in 1611 by Harija Ballala, an inhabitant of Parthapura.
