Ant. Blessed be the name
of the Lord for evermore.
Ant. We who live —

psalm cxiii. In exitu Israel.

When Israel came out of
Egypt: the house of Jacob
from among a strange people.

Judah was made His
sanctuary: and Israel His
dominion.

The sea beheld and fled:
Jordan was turned back.

The mountains skipped
like rams: and the little
hills like the lambs of the
flock.

What aileth thee, thou
sea, that thou fleddest: and
thou Jordan, that thou wast
turned back ?

Ye mountains, that ye
skipped like rams: and ye
little hills like the lambs
of the flock?

At the presence of the
Lord the earth was moved:
at the presence of the God
of Jacob.

Who turned the rock into
a standing water: and the
stony hill into a flowing
stream.
